About the Author 

John Cyril Adams is the founder of Streetside Showers in Florida. Raised in Melbourne, Florida, John spent his professional career in restaurant management and healthcare. His life took a profound new direction when he and his wife, Nancy, gave their lives to Christ, leading John to study at Colorado Christian University as an older student.
Guided by a series of lifelong "mini-miracles"—including miraculously surviving a near-drowning at age thirteen and avoiding a fatal car crash—John learned to recognize the quiet, protective hand of God in his life. Hearing a persistent nudge to "do something" for the homeless community, he partnered with the founders of Streetside Showers in Texas to bring a mobile shower trailer to his own city.
Today, he operates the ministry alongside a dedicated network of volunteers and his wife Nancy, whom he lovingly calls his "rock" and the "heart behind the showers". John never set out to be a writer. He penned this book at the urging of a fellow pastor who insisted that these stories needed to be documented so that the people of the streets would be seen, known, and remembered
